Pakistan wants meaningful dailogue with India: Sartaj Aziz

<a href="http://tribune.com.pk/story/832716/pakistan-wants-meaningful-dailogue-with-india-sartaj-aziz/"><br /> <img alt="" height="120" src="http://i1.tribune.com.pk/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/832716-SartajAzizREUTERS-1423040829-841-160x120.jpg" width="160" /><br /> </a><br /> <p><p><strong><strong class='location'>ISLAMABAD: </strong>Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz  said </strong><strong>on Wednesday</strong> Pakistan wanted meaningful and result-oriented dialogue with India for resolution of all outstanding issues, <a href="http://www.radio.gov.pk/newsdetail/74034/1" target="_blank"><em> Radio Pakistan</em></a> reported.</p><br /><p><strong></strong>Aziz told the National Assembly during question hour that the onus of resuming dialogue lies with India. He said the neighboring country had unnecessarily suspended dialogue because of the High Commissioner’s meeting with Kashmir leaders in New Delhi.</p><br /><p>Aziz, asserted that dialogue with India must include the Kashmir issue, otherwise it would be futile.</p><br /><p>The adviser on foreign affairs also said there are reports that US President Barack Obama, during his visit to India, tried to persuade New Delhi to resume dialogue with Islamabad.</p><br /><p>“However, we have not yet received any indication from the other side in this regard,” Aziz added.</p><br /><p>He said the negative propaganda about the Line of Control is indicative of Indian intransigence and reluctance to the resume dialogue.</p><br /><p>Aziz added that Pakistan is working with other countries to press India for talks, as uninterrupted dialogue is necessary for regional peace, stability and development.</p><br /><p>Speaking about the country’s relations with Afghanistan, Aziz said they were on an “upward trajectory” and this is a new phase in relations with the two countries.</p><br /> </p><br /> <br clear="all"/>

It wasn’t a knock-down, drag-out fight, but it was offered to other actors that you would expect a part like that would go to.”</p><br /><p>“It just really grabbed me hard, and I just knew that I wanted to do everything I possibly could to just get my hat in the ring. That moment happened when I could sit in the room with (director) Daniel (Barnz), and I said, ‘I will take no shortcuts. I will go to the moon and back. According to his son Mazhar Shaggan, the cause of death was a cardiac arrest and that he passed away in the ambulance while being taken to the hospital.</strong></p><br /></div><br /><p>Shaggan, who was born in Amritsar in India, was 85 years old at the time of his death and has 5 sons and 2 daughters. Among the several titles and awards that have been bestowed upon Hassan include the Sangeet Samrat which he received at the music conference in Calcutta in 1962. He also received the Pride of Performance and Sitara-e-Imtiaz from the Pakistani government in recognition of his work in the field of music.</p><br /><p>Ustad Shaggan was not only a household name in the subcontinent but he also received recognition in Europe as his musical prowess was recognised by French musicologists Gerard Kurgijian and Martina Catella.</p><br /><p>PM Nawaz Sharif expressed grief and sorrow over the death of the renowned musician.
