SYDNEY: Bangladesh set a target of 247 runs on Monday for Pakistan to chase in their first World Cup warm-up match in Sydney’s Black Town.


Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat.


Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah scored 81 and 83 runs respectively to help build the total.


Pakistan’s team for the World Cup underwent several changes recently with Nasir Jamshed now on board after replacing Muhammad Hafeez following his ankle injury.

Muhammad Irfan took five wickets, Yasir Shah accounted for two batsmen and Sohail Khan and Wahab Riaz bagged one wicket apiece.
